For an off road triathlon, bike fit is very important. The most important part, though,
of your mountain bike is stability. And, so, you should be comfortable, you should be stable.
The aerodynamic concerns of the road triathlon are, do not apply for the mountain bike. So
you want to have a position where you can generate power or you can shift around on
the bike, and that's really important to practice in training, shift back and forth on the saddle.
Bar ends, that you can go out if you need to get more weight over the front wheel to
keep it down on a steep climb. And a position that is set up for generating power and being
comfortable and being stable. (Demo)
