Hello my fellow Americans and to the members of Congress. Today, I've woken up to a greatly
disappointing news. The news that my government, our government has been shut down due to some
childish politics. With so much as risk, our own government has decided to close the doors
on its own people. To many Americans and I, this is just unacceptable. It is like parents
abandoning their own children and leaving them along in the streets. You know, I've always wonder how would our founding fathers
feel if they found out how our nation is being run today.
As I was heading to work this morning, I couldn't help but think of the hundreds of thousands
of Americans that are out of a job. I was thankful to be working and at the same time,
i said "what an embarrassing day to be an American". A country founded by the people,
for the people is destroying itself by its very own people. We allowed this madness to
unfold before our eyes. But yet, we only sat down, stand back and watch and pretending that nothing is happening.
What happened to the America that we used to know?
I recently had a great conversation with a good friend of mine who decided to go back to her country
after getting her great education in the united states. when I asked why , she said
" America isn't the greatest country anymore, it used to be, but not anymore."
At first I was angry at what she said. But after a while, I've come to realize that shes right.
America is not the greatest country anymore. well it used to be.
It is our responsibility to fix our own problem it is also our responsibility to fix our broken nation. We are responsible for our own lives,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
It's time to repair America, reunited a nation divided, and embrace our differences. United,
we stand strong, strong for our children, strong for our neighbors, strong for our future,
and strong for the United States of America.
Thank you god bless you all and may god bless the united stated if America
