Teacher: Okay, tomorrow is the big day; your Martin Luther King Junior
presentations are due.
What historically led to Dr. King's famous "I Have a Dream speech"
and how has his speech impacted America?
See you tomorrow.
Voiceover: "I have a dream, one day this nation will rise up . . . "
Student: You're coming or not?
Mother: Where are you going?
Student: Homework.
Student: Grandma, what was your reaction to Dr. King's speech?
Grandma: I was very impressed with Dr. King, the things I heard him say over the television.
In fact I remember I cut a piece out of the paper, a portion of one of his speeches that
had made a great first impression on me. I pasted it up on my desk at work.
Teacher: Okay let's get started, who would like to be first?
Student: My group will go first.
Teacher: Okay.
