In this clip, we're going to be editing text. Now, we have two pieces of text here. Our
main menu text and our button text. Let's edit the main menu text first. The easiest
way to do that is just to double click on it, opens up a little window where you can
see which font it is. And, it's a quick way to change which type of font and the style
and the size. We're going to leave these as is and we're going to put our cursor here
right after the N and delete these letters. And, we're going to write El and Chris as
our title. Now, when we're happy with that we just click anywhere in the rest of the
menu to deselect it. Now, one more thing. Once it's selected, you can hit command-I
which gives you your info window or you can go down here and hit this little info button
in the left hand corner. Now, this will allow you to do more editing to the text. You can
still change the font, the style and the size. But, now you can change it's justification.
Right now, you can see that it's center justified. You can move it to the left or the right.
Let's leave it at center. And, you can also change its color from here and add a shadow
if you want to. We're not going to be doing these things now. Just wanted to show you
how to do that if you wish. So, let's click off our info button. Now, let's edit our button
text. And, we don't want to rapidly double click this. Because, that will activate the
movie that we have associated with this button. You want to click it once and then click it
again. Now, we can change the font here. And, I'm going to do that. I'm going to change
this font to, I know this is going off the screen but just to give you an idea I'm going
to change this to gill sans. And, I'm going to put our cursor here at the end of the G.
Delete it. And, I'm going to call this button play wedding. Ok. When you're ready, you just
click outside the box. And, one other think I'd like to do is change it's color. So, I'm
going to click on it and hit command-I to open up our button info window. Anytime you
have something selected, whether it's a drop zone, a button or a text, if you open up command-I
you'll get some info on that. So, right now we see our font is gill sans. It's regular.
But, the color right now is white. We want to change it to the same color as the main
menu font. So, we want to click on our color wheel. We'll take our little magnifying glass
here and put it over the font for El and Chris here at the top. Click on that. You can see
that our play wedding button has changed to that color. I'm going to add a little shadow
to this too. Ok. When you're happy with that, let's just cancel this out. And, one other
thing I'd like to do is I'm going to be adding another button here. So, I'm going to actually
move this button over here. It's going to have two buttons down here eventually. Ok.
So, that's how you edit some text and it also gives you a little bit of an idea on the info
windows that are available to you.
