I'm going to show you how to actually put your easy walk harness to use. I'm going to
show you the difference between using a regular collar with it opposed to the harness. If
I was walking my dog with a regular collar on if she gets ahead of me I've got to put
a little bit more umph into pulling her back. I actually have to struggle. I have to pull
her back. Good girl. With the easy walk harness I can hook the harness up to the collar and
stabilize it, get a good nice fit on it and now I can walk the dog a little bit freer.
What this does is it actually steers her. It hooks in the front. She gets ahead of me
I give her a little correction back, I have a whole lot more ease in moving her around.
She gets walking, I can get her going, pull her around. They're designed for dogs that
have a tendency to pull or for a dog that's a little big bigger or has a little bit more
strength. So if the dog shoots ahead of you, you can just pull them back with a little
bit of effort. Good girl. You always want to use a lot of positive reinforcement. Especially
if it's something they really don't like. The harnesses tend to be a little bit more
easy going on the dogs so they tend to like them a lot more than some of the other training
tools but I love these. They're a really good training tool and they're easy to use.
