I'm very often asked the question
"What is a high-end interior designer?"
In my opinion I have to interpret that
to mean someone who is experienced and successful
and does high-end projects.
They don't have to be ten to twenty thousand square foot houses in Beverly Hills.
They could be a much smaller project
in another area of the city
in another area of the city
which could still end up being a very high-end project.
I think high-end also
when it comes to the actual aspects of the project,
deals with the quality and the level of selections that go into the project.
Whether it be special finishes special cabinetry,
Whether it be special finishes, special cabinetry,
furniture, high-end fabrics, more expensive fabrics.
I said that word even though I was trying to stay away from that when I refer to high-end
I said that word even though I was trying to stay away from that when i refer to high-end
'cause to me high-end doesn't have to mean expensive.
It means successful. It means well done. It means professional.
And there are all different levels for that.
