Hello mutants and mutantettes. Lumi and I have decided to do an unboxing together because we get on very well and
we are the best of friends.
We are going to do an unboxing of the brand Tale of War and their game is Tale Revision.
We have chosen to unbox the miniatures of the two heroines, which by the way I really like.
Well they are Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood.
Yes. I like them a lot, and everybody should know them.
I have a question. Why do they have companions? I mean, Snow White has the dwarf as a bodyguard and Little Red
Riding Hood has the wolf. I don't understand why the need bodyguards.
It's an ability. If you should attack Snow White the dwarf will come and hit you with his pick.
Because it's her, not because she's a girl Ok, ok.
Because she's Snow White, and Little Red Riding Hood has the wolf.
Shall we open them? Ok. Come on then.
What does it feel like to unbox a figure for the first time?
It's like... something between sadness and hapiness. It's a bittersweet feeling.
No it's happiness because... Yes but I will never be able to open it again.
You need more.
The Red Riding Hood figure comes in five different bits and a base.
Pieces.
You think you can confuse me with the vocabulary, but you're wrong.
Do you think that "bits" and "pieces" are the same thing? "Unboxing" and "Descajados" aren't the same thing, are they?
Well now put up with it.
He's in a real huff, isn't he? He's really upset that you took my side on this.
We've got what would be the body of Red Riding Hood and the wolf, that's split in two. Why's he split in two?
That's a good question. Thank you.
Beacuse in order to cast the wolf with these such dynamic legs
Yes the right front leg is positioned as like when dogs are keeping guard.
To achieve this we have to cast the miniature in two pieces because if they did it in one piece, they wouldn't be able
to get the small legs out of the mould.
Maybe we have to use green stuff to cover the joint.
Then we have Red Riding Hood in herself, and in one hand has this little food basket, although I truely believe
that there's no food in there It reminds me of an ammo box.
I think it's far more probable, yes. Yes.
And in the other hand she has a kalashnikov, AK47. Could that be?
Yes! Looks like we're learning!
I must say that I own the same boots that Red Riding Hood is wearing. And I also wear them with the stockings like that
and they look very cool. She's very cute Red Riding Hood.
And look, a curious thing about this miniature is that in assembly both arms are connected to the Kalashnikov
and both fit on a base. Very cool. Red Riding Hood and her wolf fit perfectly on a 25mm base.
Now let's go for Snow White.
I must say that Snow White is one of my favourite fairy tale characters.
I got dressed up as Snow White last carnival and they showed my picture on a famous web site and everything because it was superb.
I got dressed up as a dog, as RakÜ.
Yes. You did a "Thingys" video on how to make the mobile ears.
At first I was a little scared, because being my favourite character I saw it a little strange
but, it's got both arms together on the same... ...
Sprue
On the same sprue
And both arms would be assembled here and of course we must...
pin them Very well done my young padawan!
What does to pin mean?
Well, when you've got two pieces hard to assemble you make a small hole on one side and another and you put a piece of wire
and you glue it all together with the wire in the middle.
To give it more support, right?
Yes to make it harder.
So we have Snow White, her arms, the dwarf and the dwarf's hands with a pike.
When it comes to Snow White in herself, she has the typical Snow White costume, the red cape and so on,
but, if you look closely she has high boots up to over her knees. Very cool.
I also have a similar pair of boots. They're high heel boots, very nice, and she has some kind of corset and a huge cleavage
She's a dominatrix Snow White Bound to be, with this cleavage
Her cape is lifted up because it looks like, wait let me look,
it's like tied to her elbow, isn't it? That's what I understand.
See that the cape is like linked to her left wrist where she's wearing a bracelet so this corner of the cape
has a bracelet hanging from it. Ah! The one from the other hand.
As if she only was wearing the bracelet on one hand abd the other is sewn onto the cape, because the other hand is free.
And the hand is prepared to rest on the dwarf's head.
This figure is really nice.
Well, when painting this miniature... you have to red outline her lips.
Ok. I take note.
What are you going to do then? A Snow White with no red lips?
A green zombie Snow White and purple lips
No. Snow White is a princess
Snow White is accompanied by a dwarf, with an aggresive stance.
Both his arms.. hands, yes because it's the hands or forearm, are holding the pike.
And he's wearing some kind of collar, very glamorous this dwarf.
