This is one of these plants that has . . .
You may have seen the commercials where they
say you can just plant the whole pot.
And in this case, because this one's, pretty much
you know kinda decomposed, you can just
stick the whole thing in the ground.
Now, obviously if it was in a, I'll show you,
when it's in a planting in a plastic container
you have to take it out and just kind of . . .
I would want to just break this up just a little bit
just to break the roots up, because sometimes
these plants can get very root bound.
And if just you took a plant that was root bound
and put it in the soil, it wound't thrive, and
eventually it might just die or stay the same size,
and that's because the roots are just growing
around themselves. So, you want to . . .
This is kind of like letting them know like
hey . . . alright, you're going into the big pot,
you can spread your roots out. So, I just kinda
spread it out a little bit, tease the roots and then
I don't even really need my trough at this point
because the dirt is so soft. I'm just going to
dig a space, and I just want to be able to cover.
And with something like this, I might even tear off
the top a little bit, just so that I don't have to
worry about over covering my plant. Ok.
