>> JULIA: Hello there. My name is Julia and I am the owner of http://www.uniquemirrorsonline.com.
And one of the questions we get quite often is how to pick the best bathroom vanity mirror
to go with your new vanity and this is not an easy thing to do. So, there's a couple
of things that we recommend to take into consideration, especially because there's so many mirrors
out there, you have so many options. If matching finishes is really important to
you, then I would encourage you to buy a vanity that has matching accessories. So if there's
a matching mirror or linen cabinets that come along with the item, that that is your best
way to go if matching finishes is important. We find that matching finishes really isn't
that important to many people but there are some people that like everything to look good
and when it comes to finished colors it's like a piece of art. It's going to be different
from manufacturer to manufacturer. So, the only way you're really going to be a guaranteed
match if you buy something that was finished at the same time as your vanity. So, if that's
important that would be one route. If that's not really important to you, then
the next thing I would encourage you to do is look for something that is significantly
different from the primary color of the vanity. So that way it doesn't look like you're trying
to match finishes. You can actually pull out the other colors within your vanity by having
a mirror that's got some similar color tones to it so; I'm going to show you an example
here. In the video because of lighting you can't totally see the differences but this
is an example of what I would not do which is the base of the vanity is primarily brown,
it's got a brown finish in the wood and then this piece on here is actually a very dark
colored brownish. The countertop is black. You could go with a black countertop or a
black mirror but I would not suggest that. So, in this example we have paired a brown
mirror with it, it's actually not too differentiating between the two browns but it's enough, it
just looks like we attempted to match and we're unsuccessful at it and that's what I
encourage people not to do. So, with that in mind, what I would do -- I don't have a
mirror here that matches this particular vanity but what I would do is I would pull out the
brass in the handles, and it could be something that's like an antiqued brass or I would go
with something dark that would match this particular dark brown to pull that out. So,
again, these are just some suggestions on what to consider when looking for a bathroom
vanity. We know that this is difficult to do and our
experts are available to help you pick the best match so if you have questions about
