Hi everyone. I'm Mark with Disney Destinations. And I'm here at Disney's Art of Animation
Resort – a brand-new resort hotel here at Walt Disney World. Today, I'm going to take
you on a tour of the new family suites in the Finding Nemo section. So let's start by
swimming this way! From the moment you arrive, there's a sensation of being a character inside
one of the best-beloved stories of all time. Whimsical black-and-white drawings leap from
the sketchpad, and dance across the rear facade of the buildings. And if you look closely,
you'll see the giant sketchpads – complete with rings at the top – hiding the stairwells.
As we swim closer to the front courtyard, you'll notice sketches transition into full
color, and larger-than-life, three-dimensional characters from the film. For example, here
is Mr. Ray poised over a colorful reef, showing off his 27-foot wing span. We're now inside
one of the Finding Nemo buildings, headed to a family suite. Disney's Art of Animation
Resort is the first Value Plus Resort here on property with interior carpeted hallways,
as well as a tap key-card system. Let's go inside! The family suite is an undersea retreat
with enough room to spread out. Fixtures, furnishings and décor are all designed to
evoke characters, scenes and settings from the movie, Finding Nemo. Check out the bubble-light
fixtures. There are three separate sleeping areas to accommodate up to six people – a
master bedroom with queen-size bed and master bath, a sofa that converts to a full-size
bed, and a nifty convertible table-bed! Let me show you how the table-bed works: You just
pull down on the handles like this and voila – you're now ready to drift away. This family
suite also has a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, and a second full bathroom.
That's a huge convenience for a larger family! Notice the rusty metallic color of the tile.
It's to remind you of the submarine scene from the movie. The bathroom mirror resembles
a porthole – with a very important saying from the movie. On that note, we'll conclude
our tour of the Finding Nemo family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort here at
Walt Disney World. And remember just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming.
