Hello everyone, and welcome to our Combat Arms First Impression reviews. In this video we
will be covering a new GP release in the Combat Arms arsenal, the TriStar Cobra Force.
This weapon is an addition to the Operation: Second Wind patch along with the G18 Carbon Black.
Giving it a quick overview, this shotgun's performance is similar to the R870's, but
has less portability and ammo for more damage at range and more power overall. The stats
that Nexon has released for this weapon are as follows: 75 Damage, 64 Portability, 17
Fire Rate, and 60 Recoil. Please note that the in-game shop lists the stats of the TriStar
Cobra Force incorrectly. This gun should have less damage than it says in the Shop. This
weapon has a rank requirement of Command Sergeant Major 5. You can get this gun for 7 days by
paying up 4,410 GP, although 30 and 90 day durations are also available. Like other shotguns,
you can't modify the suppressor or the scope, but you can change the magazine size. With
that said, my personal recommendation is the Extended Magazine 2. With a base magazine
size of only six rounds, you will find that it can be very difficult to face off against
multiple groups of enemies at once. So, going over each of the stats, let's start off with the damage. So, going
over each of the stats, let's start off with the damage. The damage on this shotgun is
quite high, but it can be unreliable at times. In most cases, you'll find that the shotgun
takes people out in about three to four shots, but it can be more or less based on how the
pellets spread out. As I've mentioned before, with regards to how it matches up to the other
shotguns, it has more damage than the R870 although it is beaten out by some of the other
shotguns like the M4 Super 90. For GP shotguns, the TriStar Cobra Force is on the high end
in terms of damage, but when it comes to shotguns as a whole, this only has average stopping
power. The portability is one of this gun's biggest weaknesses. There aren't very many
shotguns which are actually heavier than the TriStar Cobra Force. In fact, I believe that
one of the only few would probably have to be the AA-12. Not even looking at stats, when
I'm in-game, I find that this shotgun is fairly heavy to run around with. More often than
not, I have my pistol or my knife out instead of this shotgun and I only pull it out if
I'm going to engage somebody in close quarters. With 17 points in fire rate, this shotgun
is essentially another M590 Military. If you're comfortable with how slow the M590 Military
fires, then you should be comfortable with this weapon's fire rate. In all honesty though,
going up against groups of enemies at once with just this weapon can be very difficult
because of how slow it fires. Unless your targets are lined up, it is more than likely
that you'll be taking out one opponent at a time. Information on the accuracy stat isn't
available, but I can talk a bit about how the pellet spread on this weapon works. Usually,
the pellets will spread out over a circle like the R870. However, you might find that
sometimes, particularly in mid ranges, the pellets will spread out into a V pattern. Because
the pellets aren't as clumped up as the M590 CQB's blast, they may stray away from your
target and do less damage. Last for stats is the recoil, but since this weapon is a
slow firing pump action weapon, the 60-point recoil doesn't have much of an overall impact.
Overall, is this gun worth it to get? Let's take a look at some of the other available
shotguns in Combat Arms right now. Looking at the M590 Military, it has 80 points in
damage, which is 5 more than the TriStar, it has 1 point higher portability, and it's
unlocked at a lower rank. The only true benefit that the TriStar Cobra Force has over the
M590 Military is the extra 6 shots that it brings in. But it is very rare when you are
using a shotgun to expend 24 shots and still need 6 more. But in a practical manner, you're
probably gonna want to take the M590 Military over the TriStar. Although it has 6 less shots,
it does have a much higher damage, and because the pellets are clumped together, it is much
easier to take down single targets with the M590 Military. That is a trait which most
people tend to value when using shotguns. And while the TriShot Cobra Force is somewhat
good at doing that, the M590 Military is more than likely going to be superior in general.
In the end, would I say that the TriStar Cobra Force is worth it? Probably not. There isn't
really anything notable about this shotgun in particular. Obviously, it can't be customized,
so there's really no way to improve this shotgun from how it is unless Nexon decides to buff
it. But beyond that, it just really gets outclassed by the M590 Military in the GP category, and
other shotguns like the KSG-12 or the Jackhammer in the NX zone. That wraps up all I have to
say for the TriStar Cobra Force. If you enjoyed this review, make sure to subscribe, check
