This is an introduction to my Mine craft world
This is not my own voice by the way - as if you couldn't tell. I do not have a microphone on my computer so I'm using this text to speech system instead
So, this is the world. I can't remember the word I used as a seed but I will share the seed number in the description.
I didn't record starting in this world so this is another copy regenerated to show what it started like
I immediately liked this initial spawn point and decided not to go hunting for anywhere else to set up home
Now, lets start a quick tour, pointing out how things started before I put my stamp on this place
That hill quickly became home
and this open area became an animal farm
After harvesting some wood, I started by building a small tower on the top of this hill so I would be able to find my way back if I got lost
I then went digging for coal and quickly found this hill had a pretty little indoor pool all ready to be turned into a home without much work
So the first thing I did was create a door over here and made the area outside my tree farm
Then I added another door on the other side of the hill and hollowed out an area to have as a crafting and storage area
followed by opening up an area for a bedroom. Then I set about mining!
The good thing about "noclip" is that I can show you where I went and ended up without all the tedious digging!
So, after grabbing some of these ores and a little tidying up of the area, I set about exploring my new underground home
And was delighted to find I'd stumbled straight into this
This cavern made exploring for ores and later diamonds much easier than having to mine through all the stone. I did some tidying up of the water and made my way in and out easier, and then set about exploring.
This little tunnel decent later became an express route down to the depths
For now, lets zip back to the surface however
This other hill later became connected and part of the extended home with a little more externally visible building work on it
Mostly so far however, this little hill has become home and except for one BIG visible addition, the hill itself looks much the same as most of the work has been done underground - working with the landscape
Some land reclamation has been done here around the beach to give me a little more elbow room, but otherwise the basic shape of the surface has been kept as it is
Later, I plan to do something creative with this little floating island. If the world gives you lemons, make lemonade - but I haven't been inspired with what to make of it yet
Thats it for now. The next video should be a tour of what I have made of this place so far. Comment, favourite and like if you enjoyed this
