so there's a common trend that observing these days on internet in the so-called
Millennials of this generation. I get a lot of messages in my inbox, on Quora,
Instagram, Facebook, email where people admit to going through the specific
problem that they feel they're stuck in their life. Their life is not moving
ahead in the direction it is supposed to be or not moving in the direction of
their goals, and those people cannot help but beat themselves up in a sense that
they do not have a clue of what they are do right now in their life. So the first
thing that I want to tell those people is that your mind is a monkey, and it's
something that it's very normal. I promise you that there is not a single
person on this earth who has not gone through it, and it is so common in the
generation where the competition is like so intense, like super neck-deep where
you have to prove yourself every single day.. every single minute you have to keep
working.. hustling hard in order to reach your goals, and with the advent of social
media you can look at the lives of people who seem to be much better than
yours, and you feel like you're stuck. I totally get it is a very normal feeling.
The second important thing to understand here is that it is a part of the process
and my friends you know you gotta respect that process, you know the process is
inevitable and the way you can go through this it is defined by the
self-awareness, is defined by how well you know yourselves.. like you literally
gotta like take a step back, like chill out you know, like not beat yourself up
to work for ten hours a day or like program your mind to think certain ways or
force-feeding it with thoughts that could make it better.
You can just like take a step back and relax like you really go out there like
walk or play with a baby or a dog or like
eat ice-cream or like - anything that can make you happy and that's the beauty
of the process.. It takes time, it is inevitable and it's defined by the way
you understand yourself, the better you do the faster that process is.. so yeah
that's what you gotta do, you gotta work on self awareness and
understand how it works and give yourself some time.. definitely give yourself
time. I'm sure you'll be back on track there is no other way of doing it
so do not beat yourself up just hang in there, like do things to take your mind
off it and I promise you that you will be back!
