Well there’s a lot more to learn. It’s a pretty complex field but I definitely feel
like I’ve got a stable base and the resources here to help me start through that beginning
stage. Alright, you’re looking in the body of the
shingle for things that look like this. Right,
right I’ll have the ability to call in and maybe
have guy overlook some of my first few files until I’m confident in turning them in without
oversight. They’re a great knowledge base, just Gary and Guy, pretty much any question
you have, one of the two of them will have the answer.
Even if the homeowner says I already got it set…I’m holding it for ya, I will go back
to my car and get my ladder and set it up in the front, or wherever I want to do it.
And I just say, I have to do this for safety issues. The company makes me use my own ladder.
(background talking) The future looks bright. There’s plenty of work
to be done. And need for new skilled adjusters who understand the software and the more recent
processes that have been developing. We’re going into the field with these guys.
And what I mean by that is not physically. When they came we stressed them out in the
very beginning. We did that on purpose so they would feel what that is. Hopefully when
they get on their first storm, and they start to feel that, they can call us. Because when
they do call us, we can be there to support them.
If you’re looking at going to VAS, I suggest you do some research and make sure this is
a career that you really want.
