Chants: In the name of God!
Chants: God is great!
Chants: Down with military rule!
I'm from Zagazig, Sharqeya governorate
I am here to defend our freedom, and the freedom of all Egyptians and the world
We are here to defend the legitimacy that we acquired by our own efforts and sweat
and for those of us and others who paid the price with their lives
they aren't any different from us
we are going to stay, even if they kill everyone in the sit-in
a million others will come instead
We are expressing our opinion, we believe what happened was a military coup
a coup that does not represent the peoples will
All of those in power have no legitimacy
The strange thing is that the current president, Adly Mansour
sweared in to a constitution that doesn't even exist
He isn't considered the head of the High Constitutional court
because when Dr.Morsi was in power, Mansour hasn't sworn in the oath infront of Morsi
Our first demand is the return of Mohamed Morsi who has full legitimacy
Our second demand is the constitutional legitimacy
we won't leave the sit-it till the constitution is returned
the constitution that the third of the people have voted for
and was passed by 64% of votes
For the sake of democracy and freedom, the voting ballets are the ones that judge
and it has. So we must commit to the result of the ballets
till the four years pass
we shouldn't take to the streets and create chaos, and assume this is the true legitimacy
Chants: No to backing down!
Chants: No to surrendering!
Chants: Till the faith is returned!
Ever since Morsi was in power, they have been standing in his way
State intelligence is against him
Army intelligence, is against him
even the presidential guard, that is supposed to protect him, is against him
the Army is against him
We are civilians, why is the Army ruling us
I didn't tell Sisi (Army Chief) to oust the president that I voted for
I voted for the Peoples' Council as well
I am not here to defend a person in particular
I am not here to defend Mohamed Morsi
nor am I here to defend the Muslim Brotherhood
I am here to defend a value that I have been living by
which is to search for my rights, and fairness, which are virtues of God
If they disperse the Army violently, then as those people of 25 January
sacrificed their lives, we too will sacrifice our lives for the sake of freedom
and the freedom of our children
They have their weapons and tanks,
we only have God on our side
we won't answer to violence by violence
because violence is not one of our principles
we will use our will and power
we trust God will change their will, whether they wish it or not,
whether they do have weapons or not
our only weapon is prayer and peace
Those who wish to search the sit-in, they are welcome
we have no weapons, we come here with our children and women
we are stressing that we are here to express the will of the people
and we have no weapons, only God on our side
We won't leave till we get our rights
our lives are a sacrifice for our country and our religion
it is a concept we defend
we are not afraid of the army, the police, nor America
