I’m Joshua; and I’m Sydney; and I’m Eli! We really like your decorative brads,
but the ones we like don’t have posts to attach to my cards. So, can you tell us the
best way to stick them on our cards? The answer is . . . Thanks for your question kids. As
you noticed, some of our brads have posts, and some do not. To use a brad with a post,
like this one, simply insert the post through the center, and adhere it to the card that
way. You can see how that works on this invitation. Some of our brads don’t have posts; like
this heart. We also have sand dollars, starfish, and wedding rings. Now there are a number
of ways you can do this. We sell a couple of glues that work well. The first one is
Zip Dry. This stuff is great because it dries quickly – within five to ten minutes depending
on how much you use, and it dries clear. So, to show you an example of this, I’ll embellish
a save the date card I made with a heart brad. So to use it, you just fill up the brad with
just a little bit of adhesive – enough to fill the concave area. You place it on the
card, and let it sit. Now we also have this GS Cement, which works well for brads with
less surface area; like these wedding rings, or the starfish, because it has a really fine
applicator, so it allows you to really get precise with your glue. And now if you don’t
want to use any glue at all, we also found that these raised double sided adhesive dots
work very well, because they fit right into the concave areas – and you can just get
these at any local craft store. Do you have a question you’d like us to answer? If so,
give us a call or email. Or, if you’d like to submit a video question of your own, simply
upload it to YouTube and email us the link. Adios!
