Hi my name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I am going to show you
how to make a great holiday lamb rack with roasted new potatoes. So we've got our big
bowl here for the potatoes and we're going to throw in our rosemary, actually you know
what, whoops, I'm going to throw in half of our rosemary, I went kind of crazy, so half
of our rosemary, all of our oil,
and half of our garlic so let's figure it is that much. Set those other two ingredients
aside, and now for the salt and pepper. You really want to do it up with the salt and
pepper because this is really the only seasoning your potatoes are getting. I mean there is
no sauce for them or anything like that so, there we go, salt, pepper and like I said,
I tend to go kind of heavy on both for this step. Now what I'll do is I'll take my brush
which I have another brush just like this for the lamb later on and just sit there and
kind of mix it up, roll it all around and you can also if you want to add some other
seasonings at this point in time, feel free to do so. I usually just put a little tiny
pinch of good old paprika in there, just a little bit though, there we go. We will get
a nice color to the potatoes too, a nice contrast to the rosemary and also when you roast the
paprika the flavor really comes out of it too which is nice. So there is that so let's
go ahead and make sure our potatoes are dry and we'll throw them in here and get started
with the lamb at that point.
