3kliksphillip has made a video on how long can a competitive CSGO match last
but he only done it on bomb defusal map
What about hostage map?
First of all, let's look at Phillip's result on the bomb defusal maps
Everything shown here except for the "Bomb planted last second" is also included in Hostage map
but in Hostage mode, there are stuff that doesn't include in the Bomb Defuse mode
First off, the warmup
The warmup is the same in both gamemode, it's 5 minutes long
and you cannot extend it further by joining late in the warmup
After the warmup ended, there's 3 more seconds until the game actually start, so that's an extra 3 seconds
Now onto the buy time
As you already know, each team have 1 timeout available so that's a total of 2 timeouts
Each timeout last for 60 seconds, which makes it 120 seconds/2 minutes in total
But there's one more thing
You can start the timeout at the very end of the buytime, as shown here
After that 60 seconds timeout, the game will give you an EXTRA 15 seconds buy time
Which mean you will get a total of an extra 30 seconds
Onto the round time
You got 1 minute and 55 seconds round time by default
and if the CT reaches the hostages, you will get one more minute added to the timer
which makes it 2 minutes and 55 seconds in total for each round
When the round ended, it takes 7 seconds for the next round to begin
This applies to 28 rounds
because the half-time is 15 seconds
and the end of the game time is 32 second max
In conclusion, with the extra time the game give us
We have a 303 seconds warmup
480 seconds of buy time
5250 seconds (or 87 minutes and 30 seconds) of round time
15 seconds half time
196 seconds after end round time
and 32 seconds end game time
That's a total of 6276 seconds!...or 104 minutes and 36 seconds
