Just as we talked about before, just as with the left hand dribble, when you're doing the
right hand, you want to keep it in the right hand and drop it. Drop it, drop it and catch
it. But you don't want it, like I said before, you don't want the ball to go above your waist.
You want to keep it right here, steady and survey everything on the court. Another thing
you can do, you can like I said before, you can switch hands and switch back or you can
back up with it, go forward with it. This will actually work on your versatility on
the court because to be honest most times on the court, you're not going to be sitting
still like this. So you want to have, to put it in game situation so that when you have
defense you're able to move around with the ball. Move around with the ball and never
look down at it. So just something to keep in mind when you're dribbling and doing drills,
keep it versatile. Shake things up a little bit because during a game you're not going
to always have simple situations. You're always going to have things coming up. Right hand
dribble will definitely keep you on the court and away from the bench. So try to keep that
in mind whenever you're doing drills. Protect the ball at all times when you're dribbling
and whether it's on the left or on the right. So keep that in mind whenever you're doing
drills. Basic dribbling, the fundamentals, are first; before you get into the advanced
techniques of anything.
