Welcome to the first edition of LPS Solutions.
I'm Lenny, and I'll be your guide throughout these videos.
I will show you how to solve everyday challenges you can face maintaining a plant and equipment.
Since this is our very first video, we'll begin with the product that started it all, LPS 1.
In our first demonstration, I have these 2 RC cars.
I will spray LPS 1 to RC car number 1 to protect all its electrical connections.
RC car number 2 I will leave as is. Both cars will receive a heavy dousing of water.
As I spray LPS 1 to RC car number 1,
to all its electrical components, it's not causing any harm to the plastic.
Now that we have car number 1 coated with LPS 1, I'll apply water to both vehicles.
And let's see if LPS 1 provides enough protection against the water for the car to function.
After flooding car number 1 with water,
LPS 1 displaced the water, enabling the car to function properly.
Let's check on car number 2.
Number 2's dead in the water.
Now you want to see it come back to life.
Since LPS 1 was not applied to RC car number 2, water interfered with the electrical connections.
Now watch this.
By applying LPS 1 to car number 2, we displaced the moisture and restored the car's electrical conductivity.
Not only did it repel moisture,
LPS 1 protected the car's sensitive electronic components against dirt and dust without harming the plastic.
Now in the next video,
I'm going to show you how LPS 1 can protect your mechanical connections from freezing up in harsh cold.
I'm going to use this freezer to show how LPS 1 will protect metal during harsh winter cold.
I have two sets of similar metal parts.
1 bowl of parts will be sprayed with LPS 1.
The second bowl will not be sprayed.
Both sets will be dipped into the water
and then placed into this freezer for 2 hours.
I guarantee that in 2 hours the bolts in bowl 1
will move freely while those in bowl 2 will be frozen solid.
Alright, it's been 2 hours at -42 degrees C.
Let's see what we've got.
The parts in bowl number 2, just as we predicted,
are frozen and seized, not working... not working.
Bowl number 1 parts with the LPS 1 applied we see after 2 hours are still mobile.
LPS 1 can restore your flood damaged electrical equipment and guard against harsh freezing temperatures.
Back in 1961 when LPS 1 was first introduced, it quickly became an industry leader.
Not only is LPS 1 a greaseless lubricant, it's a effective,
immediate moisture displacer that will protect your metals
from corrosion for up to 30 days without attracting dust or dirt.
Look for LPS 1 on the shelf of your local industrial supply provider.
