Korea′s consumer prices grew at their slowest rate in seven months in September... continuing
a downward trend since June. Statistics Korea said Wednesday that the index
rose one-point-one percent in September compared to the same month a year ago.
The agency attributes the slowdown to stable agriculture as well as oil prices, that contributed
to the stabilization of manufactured goods′ prices, and price falls in electronic products.
It added, however, that there′s a good chance consumer prices will rise more sharply towards
the end of the year.
