What are you preparing today? Methi Muthiya
Ingredients required to prepare Methi Muthiya :
Gram flour, Fenugreek leaves, Coriander leaves, Cumin seeds, Mustard seeds
Carom seeds (Ajwain), Cooking Soda, Aji-No-Moto, Garam Masala
Grated Coconut, Chat Masala, Red Chilli powder, Oil
Take 1 cup Gram flour in a bowl.
Add the Fenugreek leaves.
Add 1 tbsp Carom seeds-Cumin seeds powder. Note : Equal quantities of Carom seeds & Cumin seeds to be powdered together.
Add a pinch of Cooking Soda. Add Red Chilli powder & Salt to taste.
Add a pinch of Aji-no-Moto.
Add sufficient water to make a dough.
Divide this dough into small & equal portions.
Heat water in a pan.
Make rolls with the dough.
Steam cook these rolls.
Once cooked, shift the rolls to a bowl.
Cut these Methi Muthiya to small pieces with a knife.
Heat Oil in a pan.
Add Cumin seeds & Fenugreek leaves.
Add the cooked Methi Muthiya.
Add Salt to taste.
Add Red Chilli powder.
Add Garam Masala.
Add Curry leaves.
Add the grated Coconut powder.
Shift the contents to a serving bowl.
Sprinkle 1 tsp Lemon juice.
Garnish with Coriander leaves.
Serve with Tomato Ketchup.
