with questions on how to become part
of the Abby Lee Dance Company. And we just say, "Hey.

JILL: I'm absolutely
concerned that Abby is holding open auditions.
Obviously, Kendall's not one of her top dancers.
Chloe had the advantage. I don't think Kendall
should be at the bottom of the pyramid.
Who am I replacing?
What do I need them to do?
When are they available?
CHRISTI: I personally am very nervous
that Abby's out to replace Chloe.
She's made it perfectly clear that Chloe
is not what she views as an asset to the team, and...
I think Chloe is one of the girls she's out to replace.

Whoever I choose out of this group to put in to do a solo
in that competition has to win.

And it's sad because you're not there because of your dancing.
LESLIE: Well, she shouldn't be there, then,
because she didn't do anything wrong.

Payton is at the bottom of the pyramid again.
We know that when we act out of line, in Abby's words,
that our child will get punished.
And next... we have Kendall.

ABBY LEE: You were given the opportunity of a lifetime.
Top five?
I'm looking for number one.
JILL: I don't feel safe that Kendall
has a safe spot on the team, not for one bit.
I know there are kids out there who are better than her.
If Abby comes across one of 'em, absolutely,
she'll replace Kendall. I believe that.
Kendall got reprimanded
and put at the bottom of the pyramid for being fifth.
She went out of order.
She didn't have enough time like she was supposed to.
You know what, you got to quit the crying crap.
And next... we have Nia. Nia,
"Just Another Number." I'm still seeing
technical issues.
And next... we have Paige.
Same thing. Nice job in the group routine,
and your mother didn't interrupt.
(chuckles)
And moving up, we have... Mackenzie.
I almost pulled you out of the number.
You were this close in rehearsal to getting yanked.
Next, we have Brooke.
Brooke, why does it have to be all the singing
or all the dancing? Why can't it be both?
You can do that, but you have to perform.
KELLY: I don't really want my kids to be replaced,
but if Abby
didn't suck the joy out of everything Brooke did,
maybe she would perform better for her.
Can't hold back, Chloe.
You were supposed to dance first.
Kendall went first. You watched her
from the wings blow the first turn,
and then you played it safe.
80-some competitions you have under your belt.
Figure out what you did in your routine
that you could have done better to beat that little ten-year-old
CHRISTI: Abby made
such a big deal about Chloe and Kendall going head-to-head,
and Chloe beat Kendall. But Abby still can't even
give the kid a compliment.
And in the "Just Another Number" dance...
outstanding work.
It was good.
Maddie is
the only one that's safe on this team.
When I go to my open calls,
I'm looking for a whole team
full of Maddies.
This week, we're doing a group routine.
The music is actually called "Losing You."
So I might be losing one of you.
I have two solos,
the first one going to Maddie.

piece entitled "Down My Spine."
Mackenzie, you're doing a solo,
jazz and acrobatics,
and it's called "Take It to Go."
I want Mackenzie to
step it up this week. I keep telling her
the same thing over and over. So I'm not
gonna put her in the group routine so that she will have
more time to train on her technique.
Like Maddie. It's about time
she inherits some of Maddie's technique.
And then I have a trio.

So, Brooke, you're gonna be lead.

you are her backup dancers.

I need somebody that can win that eight-and-under category.
That's no longer Mackenzie.
I need
an eight-year-old that is strong,
that is technically sound,
and has the passion
and the determination to be the best that she can be.
All that the judge one, two and three see
is your belly and your ribs.
They don't see the trick.
That needs to really
come around this corner, and it's not.
As soon as you're done with your solo, when I have Maddie,
I want you to get out there and find my purse and come in
and sit here and start cleaning it out.
I think, honestly, Abby's more excited
by the open-call auditions than the competition this weekend.
LESLIE: So, when she takes
your kids with her for this casting tour,
that is letting all those kids that are auditioning know
that your kids have a permanent spot,
and they are not going to be the ones replaced.
'Cause why would she have them there?
So, there's gonna be a microphone on a stand.
An old-fashioned radio mic.
And you're gonna be in front of it doing all the stuff.
And you two are on her either side,
and you'll switch back and forth, so forth and so on.

This week, the trio is a jazz number.
It's a take on The 1940s Radio Hour.
This is a huge opportunity for Brooke.
If she wants to be a singer,
she's gonna learn how to work a mic.

Like, it's on the back part.
So, wait. Let me ask this question.
If-if Lucas was number 11, Chloe
was number 12, and Kendall was number 13 in the program book...

Watching this trio makes me think,
that should be Kendall in there,

HOLLY: Abby has talented dancers
that she has produced since the age of three.

just because she's going across the country,
having open auditions.
So, I hope Abby remembers that when she's in Orlando.
ABBY LEE: I'm leaving early
to get to Orlando so that I can have that open-call audition

Maddie's dance this week is a lyrical routine.

When she performs this number, I want it to be so breathtaking
that she is going to send chills
down everybody's spine, especially Mackenzie's.

We're all worried about being replaced, except for Melissa,
