Yea, I didn't realize what it would mean if I didn't meet the CSU Math and English requirements
before I got to college.
I wish that I would have known that if you fail the placement tests you have to enroll
in a bunch of remedial courses that take extra time and don’t count toward your degree.
Now I am working to finish my remedial stuff up before I can move forward on my degree.
If I would have known about the importance of being ready for college math and English,
I would have worked harder to pass the CSU placement exams or tried to do better on the
SAT
I’d recommend that you take advantage of your senior year of high school to make sure
that you satisfy the CSU math and English requirements. There are lots of free online
resources to help you take care of this before arriving at the CSU.
Don't fool yourself into thinking you've got it all under control, and then find out that
you have to take a bunch of remedial classes once you get to college. Believe me, it’s
not fun.
