okay now everybody's asked over and over and over again how to do a dramatic look
on a deep side eye because so many have you want to do a
smokey eye and we cannot do a smokey and a deep side eye now
a foundation her forehead and I was going to consider eyelid
that really will decide I want to prove a point your show your point as to why
it's so important and so eye lid
look at Diane's eyelid everybody has this correlation eye lids in so many of you
don't think it's important
to conceal them you can see expression on a deep side, I mean just beginning to
conceal them and
get rid of that darkness on the lid
is we all know with the deep side eye, I want to keep the lid light to bring them
i forward
you can already see how that starts to help her eye shape so it's really important
to conceal your eyelid
I want to let you see that, so went ahead and
and conceal the eyelids we start to paint
we are then gonna set the lid with some powder
to set that concealer
so I really want a lot of pop of course because it is deep side eye
on the lid, so I am going to take my cream shadow
and I'm going to apply to her lid
that's because
any time you apply a color on top of a cream, it is going to give you better pay off
by doing this
really it gets out that nice and
highlighted
stay right on the lid and don't go into the crease. Yeah, and you need to be different
size for different deep side eyes
now when I go back over
my highlight shade with
powder now I'm going to mix a shimmer on a matt
so i touch my shimmer first, my matt second
and the reason why I'm mixing the two is, I want it to be more opaque
now I'm gonna take because you know I like to see what I'm doing
So, I like a little bit of lashes on now. So I am going to do some lashes first
look down for me, I am going to curl them
now because they are deep side, many times your gonna need more detail
eye lash curler to really get in there, because a regular
curler sometimes in a deep side eye does not fit in as well
to give you an example of the shade I use as her highlight. that was my matt beige that was my shimmer
champagne beige
do a layer of mascara
look down
so I can start to see kinda what's happening
now for drama on a deep side eye, for evening
we can get as much drama at the lash line as we want
we just don't want to lid to be super dark
the actual fullness of the lid because we are tryna get the eye forward
we can get dramatic at the lash line
and up onto the brow bone
in order to keep the crime using waterproof first
okay so I'm gonna start with my Mid tone. UMM, Im just going to use a
nice map tote
It's kinda one of those mornings
ok so I'm taking my number eleven brash
and my map tote and I am going to go right above that crease which we al know
blending that in to start to push away that brow bone
okay now I'm gonna start to do a little definition on the lid
me take my number thirty brush in its same map tote
and I'm going to start to close in an outer edge now you can see that I'm patting it on
so you can see right where I am putting it this starts to add the drama
and the shaping but still keeping
the lid light feel free to pat on
get amount of it but keeping it right in the outer corner
Then you are going to take your big fluffy brush #28
and you are going to blend towards the centre just on that outer
third of the lid. This starts to create shape
and you can see how it is starting to close it in and lift it up. once again patting it on
plenty towards the center
Starting to get a nice shape, just do as many layers as you want to get some depth
because we're going to do colorful for drama
and a nice line now what you could also do for drama
because her lips can support it and her age
can support it her children can't neccesary supported it
just kidding
she could do kind of an ordery eye, which works great on deep side eyes
and then do a dark lip for drama for evening as well
but y'all have asked for a dramatic eye look for evening
Alright now I'm gonna start to create my depth with the lash line
first thing I'm going to to do is gonna take my number forty one brush
and Im gonna push color inch on her lash line because I want as much darkness
right at the lash night as possible open and look down
sufficient right in between those lashes
look straight ahead extra head. Look into that camera
and you can see how that already starts to define and eye. Now she has
look at me some blue and some green in her eyes. So she has hazel eyes
UMM, I could be boring
Im not boring because I love burgundy
I could be safe and go with burgundy. A bit a lot purple
So, I'm gonna do a purple eye. Because purple really goes on across brought and a lot of
people you could if you have blue eyes
just blue eyes you could do burgundy for this look
if your brown eyes you could do blue-green
you name it and I'm gonna do purple as my
wild color for her evening now
normally I would line right now
before I start my accent color but because I want the liner to be
distinctive
more distinctive and it's gonna be black probably versus the color because we
want drama
whereas if I was doing this for a day eye color on you I could do purple eye liner
to match purple shadow
but because it's going to be evening I want to be the more dramatic and i am going to do some
false lashes cause its evening as well
I'm going to do black so I'm gonna do my
contra shade before my eyeliner which usually its the other way around
when using pencil so now I'm going to start my contra shade
again we have to keep it it's not gonna be dark purple. Im going to start with a lighter
purple so I can bring it further over
and them I'm gonna add a dark purple in this outer corner where I can do my
my drama by starting with a lighter purple just to give an example
it's kind of a sheer iridescent purple I can go
into her inner corner and not darken her lid
too much so I can use that shade and then I'll go back
with a much deeper darker purple
in the outer corner for that drama so
just keep that in mind when you're trying to create the fun
the evening drama then you are using color you might need two shades
because on a deep said eye, I need a lighter shade to bring in and I don't want your
whole lid to be purple because that would just be
too much purple and anytime I'm using color
I always do what I just did, just start with my neutrals to create shape
which leaves our eye which already has a shape naturally, so I didn't have to do my neutral
contra shade I could just do to the midtown
but then you build on top that with your color so I'm gonna first start
with my number 30 brush and my sheer
iridescent purple now I'm patting it on remember when you pat color on
you get more product on
and because it is so sheer and
Iridescent, I'm really just going to pat it on
to get the most out of it and I'm patting it on about
the outer half of your lid and then I'm gonna take my big fluffy number twenty eight brush
and I'm going to blend it towards the centre. to get started to start to get that
nice wash of purple just keep doing enough layers to get the color you want
the amount of color that you want
and you can slowly build to bring it over as far as you
you find works with your deep side eye
because you've got such nice big lid space
I can't come over a little further on someone might not have as much that
space as you
I always been a little shy
putting color on my lids, this is nice to know I can go. yes you can go
I mean I don't, but you need to blend it, you need to have a neutral color on there first because yes, you
do have quite large lids
and so you need to be careful that
you don't have purple all the way across
okay now you can start to see how that's starting to add color and drama now I'm
gonna show you a little trick
don't tell your friends for the darker shade in order to get to show more
I am gonna layer a cream first
so that we get more drama
right in that outer corner
that darker shade will really grab on so I'm just using a little bit of a purple cream
theres tentative ones out there
worst-case scenario I could just use a
coppery color and then put the purple right on top of it and whatever you got a cream
being on there will help everything stick so make sure when you putting the cream on your
still blending it out because
you don't want it to suddenly stop
also to a misconception about cream shadows creeping shadows are designed to
be worn
well ok cream shadows are designed to work on top of powder so I can do
cream shadow on powder and cream shadow on top of that it's not going to affect you at all, so
never be afraid to apply an eye shadow cream because their formulations different
on top of powder that you've already put on I'm going to
remove a little bit of color I'm getting lot to fall out and
I mean where's I'm gonna clean this up in a minute I do kinda need to get rid of a little
bit
for me just like she's not totally been beaten up
now
your husband will appreciate it for the fact that you don't look like he'd beat you
okay an now I'm gonna take my darker shade
I may keep it very very tight this outer corner once again padding on
sorry, I'm just getting in and out of the corner and I'm going to take my big fluffy brush once again
and I'm going to start to blend it out and blend it up to just keeping that dark to
really add our depths to the eye
and you can see how we're getting drama
0h and until I really clean this up and conceal this it's hard to read tonight because the
whole eye set back to really see what I am doing so I do not want to go too far
I can add more later here I already
see we're getting a dramatic more dramatic evening look, I'm gonna go ahead and put
a false eyelash on
Let me see which one I want first because her eyes
might last quite long on their own and she has very little space
at the top. now I'm going to false eye lash which I talked about
umm and we're going to show me putting it on one In case this is one of the first videos you've seen me doing
but this is really important when you are choosing false eyelashes for deep side
eyes
because Diane's space even though she has a nice fold lid
It's quite small when she looks straight ahead I don't wanna close in all that brightness that I created
because that's bringing that eye forward
you have to be careful if you choose to wear false eyelash
on deep side eye that you don't want wear when it is too dense cause even know
this is on the very natural and a false eyelash
their wispy their spiky but they're solidly dense
because of that I'm just gonna lay it on there, glue it on there
let her straight into the camera, you can see how is it starts
to close
in the eye you know it's it's too heavy too thick its darkening area that we
lined
so you want to choose one either you want to do individual ones
which you can which are great there's just not going to pop it as fast
ummm but you could do individual ones
which are nice and would work completely or
you can choose one that is sparse right at the base
because this sparse right at the base will keep it from closing it in
alright, so I'm going to chose this one just cause its
a little more dramatic than the single ones and we are as strong after all so I'm
trimming it to size
a measured on our eye, re measuring it
keeping a little more to the outer corner and I can blend those in really well in her
natural assets which are
are good and Long
next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to line the eye
you gotta give the liner
you've gotto give the lash a base to
lie on so I'm just gonna line right at the line. (look down for me)
nice thin black line we're want to keep it as tight as possible
so she has a nice thin black line
course going to set it with a matte black shadow
is going right
over it with number 18 brush
those of you that watch all the videos
you know I keep saying brush numbers that's because each brush was designed
specifically
for its purpose and so it's not that you can find other pressures that can work
I'm just telling you which ones are designed to do that job
perfect you can already see how we are getting lots of drama at the lash line
I'm gonna take my lash
and Im gonna color the band using a gel or a liquid
to stick right
on that band once again it helps to look natural
now I'm gonna take my glue
apply it to the band
its surgical adhesive duo
we have it on our website I prefer surgical adhesive because some people are allergic to
eyelash glue and although I have met one person
to be with a large search what he said usually your not it's what they use to put on
bandages when people have
adhesive allergies in hospitals
now I'm rolling it
while it dries a little bit to
get tacky not be tacky get tacky
and then I'm gonna put it right on top of
that line Andrea going towards the outer part of the eye lid
is once again we want the most drama
out there so I guess I could see you could say that you'd like this
if you're getting when trimming your lash, it better to be a little shorter
with wise then wider
you know we stay within it till it starts to dry remember it dries clear
that's the actual one thing I love about it search what he said it starts out
creamy white dries clear so I can tell so i can tell when it is really dry
I can also tell I can move on when
done it to keep pushing it here I want it to stay
on most deep side eyes, the eyes very round and so
you get a really roundout that lash to get it to stay on correctly
gotto reshape it to your lid
create the shape yeah
okay so now I've cleaned up foundation the rest her face concealed
I'm finishing up my powder powering the
face setting everything
now Im going to do some definition on the lower lash line make it more
dramatic
and you can see how it's a good thing I stopped my jid because when we hit the last
lashes on
and the liner it's really giving us enough pop. THOSE EYES WOMAN!
wow okay So now I'm gonna take my mid tone which is my Matteo
look up and go right along underneath
the lash line to start to create drama and depth
Now I want some purple down there verses black
but I want to have a little more depth on these darker shade
I'm first going to go over with my iridescent purple
so I get that iridescent ness. So I am going to go
over when my 13 that little bit of iridescence
and then gonna take my number 18 brush
and take the darker shade of purple
I got it. Put it on the right
at the lash line and this isnt little of any black liner so you wanted to almost look like
liner
be a little softer and you can see how
that really lays it in there really pretty.
Be careful to brush off excess that falls
and then just going back on the
edge feathering it out
then I'm going to highlight the inside corner
base the lash line
running them where they meet. Now I'm gonna start my mascara
personal lower lashes
meet the definition I want
yeah exactly
so it works really great for like lower lashes on the first layer
now taking
and blending
the lashes into the false
Now remember you wana a make sure and get these inside small ones
so you don't see where the lashes stop then blend
all the way across into the lashes
I guess you could do multiple layers
now because her eyes are so colorful and fabulous
this moment we are looking into the monitor. You see how fabulous they are
I am going to
bronze her but I am going to keep the rest very simple
she has naturally have very dark lips and you know how many
with a dramatic eye like a pell lips so I'm in a second going to
erase her lip a bit
because thats more color that I want for this look and bronzer
her foreheads crying out for bronzer Although her bangs are about to come back down
it still helps if you bronze as well
there's no need to own a shimmer bronzer
I'm gonna take a
little bit of bronzer
definition
signature now the face isn't flat so
comp lend
to brow
so now I'm gonna take concealer and I'm going to conceal
now
I have moisturized her lips before we started so I've gonna blot of
that moisture still there that I don't need
now that the moisture has sat on there long enough to get it nice and moist
and some of you may prefer to keep the color cause
she's got a pre color to her lips I just for this look would prefer a more nude lip
and I know that you all are shocked by that
actually when you nude out her lips, you can see so you could do either way
you can see right I can now afford a little bit of blush color
except just the bronzer because I've washed out a little bit color down there
and I would rather have the color on the
cheeks than the lip just for this look
once we
calm down the color on the lips
once again use number 73 brash
and then I'm just gonna do a nice
sheer application nice Beijing it
wow
really could go out for the evening. Too bad I have to destroy it for the
other teaching tool will take pictures of it
okay
okay so the important things in takeaways from this
is keep the lid light, our drama comes from defining
a lot of the lash line if we're gonna do bold. lets do color
not a smoky eye, as i said I'm gonna show you cause we are going to do
and eye shape video where what you can and can't wear wear for each eye shape
and then that's really about it and
don't forget false lashes you don't want any that are too intense lash line
because if they are too thick and too intent especially on certain deep side eyes
it close the I back in
and then I just kept the rest the face pretty neutral and
just fresh and pretty ok we are going to go
away give her bangs back and come back
finished product it okay so I used a shimmer cream on her lid
then I used a, I layered and Matt beige
and a shimmer beige over that cream I then took a Matt tope
used it as a Mid tone I then took a iridescent purple
and started my layering of my purpose first
that I applied a cream purple
to help that darker purple pop more and I applied my dark purple
and then used black eyeliner just a little bronzer and a soft flush cheek
cheek cheek and then at Beijing nude
