Hi Besties, Hi Tid Bits of Experience, Wait ... we're on Tid Bits of Experience?
I LOVE Tid Bits of Experience! Technology has a lot do to with learning as
of late. If you are a mother,
you should know what apps your kid should be using
in order to make learning enjoyable. Here are 5 educational apps for your kids.
First, Speech with Milo: Sequencing.
It is from speechwithmilo.com and it is currently the most popular app of
the site, used to help children enhance their storytelling
and sequencing skills. With this app,
the following skills can be enhanced: sequencing,
storytelling or retelling, time concepts,
utterance length, developing complex sentences,
and grammatical skills. This app is available on apple.
Next, Ollie's Handwriting & Phonics.
This is from bluemangollc.com and it is specifically for children ages 2
-- 8. This helps kids in developing and mastering
the building blocks of becoming successful readers and writers.
Children can practice letters and sounds, read custom phonics words
and spell sight words. This app is available on apple.
Third, Alpha Writer.
This is from moneycrashers.com and it teaches kids to spell, read and write
by learning words phonetically. This is tailored along the Montessori teaching
approach. Fourth,
ABCya.com. This is a math app
and it is tailored for different grade levels. It started as a small one in Rhode Island
and then started to grew as more people use it.
Last, Sing Song Yoga.
This is available on apple. It is a kids' musical yoga program
in which song lyrics instruct children how to get into the poses
and it beautifully enhances the child's ability to levelize itself for greater learning possibility
within whatever content is being learned. That's it for the day.
