The Amsterdam Dance Event
These days our capitol will be the center of the dance scene.
All biggest deejay-acts will preform these days at more than 200 events.
But who can call himself 'the best deejay in the world'?
Every year DJ Mag publishes a list of the top 100 deejay's in the world.
And that list will be revealed tonight, here at the Amsterdam Convention Factory.
And we our proud to be part of it,
thanks to GetReal Energy Drink
One condition: we agreed to do 'some' promotion for them.
No problem!
There he is: the number one deejay in the world: Armin van Buuren!
From our own tiny country: the Netherlands!
It's really cool for Armin that he is number one again,
he has done a lot of giggs around the world this year.
He made a documentary, he's everywhere!
He's very succesfull at the moment.
He just is the most successful trance-deejay around at the moment.
But I'm also really proud at Headhunterz....
How do you feel about winning your award?
It's like a gift from the fans!
Just because I do the thing I like most with a lot of passion for a the last couple of years.
Where do you get all the energy to keep you going?
I only make music!
All my energy goes to making music.
And if my ranking will drop next year, that's fine!
I already achieved more than I could every dream off.
A beautiful thing about dance music is that it connects people around the world.
It's one global scene.
Every deejay inspires other deejay/producers,
it's a worldwide network with people that contribute to the dance music with passion.
I think when people at passion to it:
That is where the magic happens!

For which deejay are you here tonight?
.....for David Guetta.
But he won't be here tonight!
Didn't he win the award?
No, Armin van Buuren got number one...
How blond are you?!
Party!
The party continues, and I got plenty of Energy left.
Armin, congratulations with your number one position!
We'll party all night long!!
Do you know what I really want right now?
GetReal! Yeah!
That one was really wrong!
