Actually there are probably two main rules. First is technology helps me keep abreast
of what's going on in the market. And consumers right now are so savvy that I really need
to stay a step ahead of them, and technology allows me to do that. If it's various blogs
and websites and stuff that talk about listings, things going on in neighborhoods, all of that's
really important.
The second thing that technology really does is it allows me to grow my business. When
they think of a real estate broker I want them to think of me. So with Facebook and
my blog, Below 23rd Street, and Twitter I am always in front of people so that my clients
and I have an ongoing relationship. And people who could possibly become clients and I also
have a relationship as well. So again, when they see the post that I write about, not
just the real estate market but cool things in the neighborhood or interesting events,
they know that I really know my stuff.
