Here to talk sports, Tumamao Harawira.
The All Blacks vs the Wallabies.
There's been a lot of talk from that side of the Tasman.
They're talking themselves up but I think the Wallabies are just that -
all talk!
I believe that the All Blacks will destroy them on the weekend.
- Why do you think that?
- Where does your faith in the All Blacks come from?
In the last two years, the team has struggled.
They only won 20% of their games.
In the past two years, they have lost 20 games
and I think that their riding on empty promises.
- Suncorp Stadium has been the Wallabies stomping-ground
for a long time, correct?
I don't believe that.
Those comments come from the fact
that the Reds won the super 15s there, that's all.
If we look back on 2010, who won the game there?
It was our All Blacks team. The rest is just hear-say.
- Now, I want to talk about your team the Warriors.
They have a big battle ahead at the weekend against St George
because since the Warriors were established
they haven't won a single game in Wollongong.
Let me correct you. - Go ahead.
When Illawarra and St George combined in 1997, they did not win.
- Now you're just nit picking.
Just so you know.
- And what of your team? Will they win.
They'll win. - They won't.
Wayne Bennett is strategizing to get them out of the ditch,
because at the moment they're in a bit of a rut.
The important thing to me is that the Warriors excel at scoring tries.
In the last eight games, every time they've scored at least 12 tries.
St George Illawarra won't be scoring any.
We all know that they are lacking in terms of tackling, but in scoring?
There may be none better than the Warriors.
Perhaps time will tell.
Thank you Tumamao. Have a good weekend.
