one thing I have noticed is SII really really puts
the onus on being independent you know independent broker-dealer and independent in
our business is very very key
you know there is not that level a preferred providers
its we're going to do our due diligence we are going to
do our valuation have where these companies stack up and how strong they
are how good they are
and then it's up to you as the rep to make your own decisions and I think that
that level of independence
is very very important as business and can't be overstated we do well they do
well
that's a partnership that SII understands and that we understand as SII reps
is we're here to help each other we are in it together when I call down there
I know who I'm talking to. They are competent they know what they're doing
You know and the service is very prompt. SII is a very specialized kind of a
shop
and they do what they do and they do it well
they don't try to get into other areas that they know are going to interfere
with that what they really are trying to do for the adviser we have not made any
compromises in technology
and I'll say quite the opposite as SII has very much helped us
get where we need to from a technology standpoint
A - number one you've got to be taking care for clients okay
but you need a second night to watch the legislative changes to watch for
procedural changes and things like that and this ad is a tremendous job of
keeping up on such a dynamic industry
you need to have a broker-dealer in our business as an independent rep
so you might as well have one that you have a genuine partnership with
