Hi, I'm James with JNC Home Repair, today I'm going to tell you how to buy a toilet.
There's two things to consider when you're buying a toilet, one is the style and color
that you prefer to match your other appliances or your other fixtures inside your bath. The
other one is how many gallons or liters, per flush, you're going to use, how much water
you're going to use, basically, every time you flush the toilet. Most toilets, nowadays,
they're all either one point six liters per flush and what that's going to do is just
for water conservation purposes, it actually just controls, it uses less water to actually
flush the toilet than it does say an older toilet. Those are basically the two things
you need to consider. Most toilets are white porcelain type toilets and are going to be
the most common ones but if you have black counter tops or something, you may want to
consider a black toilet or a different color toilet. I would definitely recommend an energy
efficient toilet, ones that only use one point six liters per flush.
