Today I am going to show you how to stream a
Tegrity recording, and the different options
that you can choose to use while streaming.
So you got this little arrow here you can click to expand it
or you can click the name. If you do want to download the lecture because your
internet speed isn't fast enough to stream,
you can click here and download the lecture
first and then use that download to watch the lecture. So you get the different slides
here, the first slide
resumes from a previous point at which stopped,
and that'll only be there you have already watched part of the lecture or you can click on
either of these slides
to start at a certain point in a lecture. I'm gonna click
and start it at the beginning.
So I've now started the lecture.
I get the instructor video in the top left
or me. That will only of
course show if they have a camera that they're recording with. Then you've got the
screen capture over here.
You've got the volume down here which you can lower or raise.
This will slow down the lecture
and it will also slow down the audio of the lecture
and this
speed it up. So this will make the lecture move along faster.
You can look at each individual chapter by clicking here.
You could then print off these individual chapter pages if you wanted by clicking
here.
This is another way to download it, but I would prefer you to use the
first way I showed you. This is some help guides
that help you if you have any problems with Tegrity, and this is the
chat session that you can use to talk with other people in this
specific course or other courses that you're in. You can also use this function
up here to
search for any text that was shown while in the
screen capture area while recording.
You can also
full screen any of these
different videos, such as I did there;
and how I did that was clicking this little box here in the upper right hand
corner of the individual item.
corner of the individual item.
So
If I wanted to do that for the screen capture
I'd click there. You can tell that the screen capture is a little bit higher quality now,
and then I'd hit the Escape key on the keyboard to get it
back to the way it was. You also
can take notes by clicking here.
And that's the basics
of streaming a lecture.
