Hi my name is Donyell Baba and today I am going to show you how to use a concept mapping
software using spiderscribe
We will begin today by using a web browser of your chose but for today we will use internet
explorer. Click on Internet explorer and go to the browser and type in www.spiderscribe. net
Spiderscribe is a website used for concept mapping and I use this site often for my papers,
presentations, and projects. Right here you have three different trails
a personal, pro, and business. For this project we are going to use personal because it is
free. You will click sign up and register you name, email, and a password.
Since I already have an account I will just log in using my username and password. To
get started you will select create new map. Here you will add a title and a description
to your map. For this presentation our title will be Educational
Technology and the Description will be Teachers Leaders, and the Implementation of Technology
in the Classroom. After press create.Next you will see the spiderscribe format gives
you the option to add text, images, and a calendar that will allow you to organize information
easily. To get started click on the Text tap and drag
it to the center of the screen, this is where I will add a title. I will repeat this step
again and add a supporting topic point. Adjust if you must. After I will connect my topics.
I will repeat the step by adding keywords to my supporting text and connect them. I
usually drag a date tap to my concept map Which allows me to remember my due date. Spiderscribe
saves your work automatically, So do not worry about losing work, you have the option to
return when you like.
