My name is Lydia and I am a grad student first year
here at Eastern Washington University.
My favorite class has been diversity - diversity was so awesome
when I first went into the class I thought of diversity as
being culture, ethnicity, race, gosh - I didn't know what I didn't know.
After taking the class it was so awesome it opened my mind up
to a whole new way of learning.
What I really like and appreciate about my studies
is all the new learning. I am now able to think critically
and do concious thinking and that has been amazing
it causes you to think of things in a whole new way,
and on a deeper and different level.
I like attending classes here at the University Center
simply because of the support, the support has been awesome
the only way you fail here at the University Center
is that you plan to fail.
Once I gradute I plan to work at Skagit Valley Hospice program
in Mt. Vernon, and that experience will take my
Human Developoment Degree full circle.
