Hi everyone,
today we're taking a look at a preview of a game that will be due out hopefully before
the end of the year.
This is Shadow Fight 2 and obviously it's the sequel to Shadow Fight.
Now one of the things that really interested me with this game when the
developers asked if I wanted to take a look at it is the animation style
is very very well done. I'm not sure whether it's been mocapped but
it's very fluid. Part of the game's appeal
is the ability to upgrade your shadow fighter
with new weaponry. armour and so on allowing you to obviously
do better at the fights. You compete in a series of tournaments.
Each time you win a particular fight you gain additional currency that you can use to
upgrade your fighter.
All of this leads to a kind of boss battle on the world map
where effectively you won't be able to defeat this boss even though he's already
unlocked
until you've upgraded your characters. Now at any point in time you can kind of use
your own skills
and obviously how upgraded your character is to have a go and see if you can defeat the boss
move on to the next kind of area but overall
it works as a really good kind of test your skill.
It's not all about having the best gear but also about
using your skills and one of the things I found really interesting with this game
is how the animation style
really lends itself to a skill-based game. The
action isn't button bashing fast you'll have to kind of watch your
opponent
watch the moves as they try and strike you and then counter them
by striking in a different area, dodging out of the way
or just generally outwitting the computer. Overall
the graphics are really nice for this style of game, and like I say, the animation is just
fantastic.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do when this game is
actually released.
But at this point in time it's looking like a real winner.
Don't forget you can like or subscribe and if you'd like to let your friends know
about this particular title, like I say, coming out towards the end of the year
do share it with them on Facebook Google+ Twitter and all of the other
social networks you use.
Hope you enjoyed this preview of Shadow Fight 2,
we'll be bringing you a full review towards the end of the year
when the game's released.
