Honey, I was going over the bills for this month, and I'm wondering if we really need
OnStar anymore. The 1 year free service is up, and we have never even used it.
I think so, but that's just me. I see it more as an insurance; I may not need it everyday,
but when I do it is there.
I get that, but what can it to do that my cell phone can't?
Well, I know how many times you've locked your keys in the car and just had to call
OnStar to unlock it.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
Yup, just because we haven't actually pushed the button yet doesn't mean we aren't using
it.
Okay, but other than that, what are we using it for? I mean I know that I don't lock them
in there that many times. It still isn't worth it to me.
Well, think about if the car got stolen. OnStar can track it to find the thief and get the
car back.
That means that they can track us... that seems a little creepy. I don't know that I
want that anymore.
You know, there was a case recently where a wife was trying to prove that her husband
was cheating on her and the lawyer used the OnStar tracking to prove it. I'm pretty sure
she ended up winning.
Okay, it's worth it now.
Well, I was starting to lean towards your side.
Nope, it's worth it.
Oh geez, I would never...
(interrupts) Haha, I know. I do like knowing that it is there in case we need it though.
Yeah, and I think the biggest argument is the fact that a cell phone can take care of
you, but cell phones don't work everywhere.
Yeah, and I forget mine all the time.
Really? It's not attached to your hand?
Oh hush, you jerk.
