So you want to be part of the modeling world but not exactly be a model. How about a modeling
agency? Hi, I'm Hazely Lopez, director of Hazely Academy of Refinement and Modeling
and I'm here to talk to you about how to start a modeling agency. Well, the first thing you
want to do is get experience. You want to know where there's work. Of course a great
way to actually know is to get out there and look for castings and find out what exactly
is going on in the modeling world. After that you want to choose an age group, if it's women
or men or children or boys only or girls only. You basically want to choose what you want
to do in your talent agency. You want to work with all the talents, if you want to work
with different age groups. What do you want to do? After that you of course want to choose
a good location and get a good space that has exposure so people can look at you and
you want to market yourself. Of course when you're choosing a place and you're actually
starting the business you have to make sure to look for your business regulations, your
permits and everything you're going to need as for the legal side. Once you have the space,
and also you just go ahead and start making the contract that you're going to be making
with your talents. Then, you of course want to have some clients. You need some business
departments or big businesses that need to make some advertisements. That's really the
next step. After that prepare your casting call and get exposure, get out there, do your
best. I'm Hazely Lopez, director of Hazely Academy of Refinement and Modeling and this
is how you start a modeling agency.
