Hi! I'm Mandy Butler on behalf of Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you today about cheerleading
motions. Now I'm going to show you the low clasp. If I've got a high clasp, just as I've
showed you a minute ago, and I rotate my shoulders forward, I've got a low clasp. If I turn to
the side, again, you're going to be able to see that my hands are not up against my body.
They're right in front. I'm squeezing my arms together. They're not bend. My arms are nice
and straight in a low clasp. If I have my arms up in a regular clasp and bring them
down, that becomes a low clasp. You're going to see this in a lot of cheers, a lot of chants.
This a low clasp. If I bring it up, I've got a high clasp. Bring it to the middle. That's
just a clasp. Bring it down and it's just a low clasp. If I were to straighten my finger,
that would be a low clap. Remember the difference between a clap and a clasp is the way I have
my fingers and my hands cupped together. This is a low clasp.
