This is Ben Ingham with Expert Village talking about a walk out basement. One of the problems that you have to deal
with is anytime you use a back hole and you are digging tons of dirt and many many square
yards of dirt out of a hole is that you got to go somewhere with the dirt. Fortunately
the house that I'm building this particular building is on 88 acres of land and I have
lots of place to just spread the dirt out. There are low spots here and there and most
of the dirt is very heavy clay and so it needs to be spread out anyway. It wouldn't grow
much on it right now so it just needs to be out in places in low places in the field.
Perhaps use it as a dam for a couple of ponds later on.
