The sixth biggest mistake people make when correcting their posture is masking the problem.
This is something I really know a lot about. Years ago, long before I began helping people
correct their posture, I was really suffering from daily headaches. I used to think nothing
of medicating; taking a lot of aspirin every week and I did that for a number of years.
After hearing a speaker speak on health and medication, they asked us if we thought that
the medication knows how to find the headache or do with think that medication affects all
of our body? I didn't want the chemicals affecting all of me -- the healthy parts of me. I didn't
even want it to affect the area from which the headache was coming. This is how I explain
it to my clients: You are driving along the road and the oil light comes on. You think
that you haven't any time to do anything about the oil so you put a piece of tape over the
oil light in your car. Now you can't see the light and you feel better. But eventually
we all know that your car is going to start sputtering along and eventually it will break
down and then you have to do something about it. Our bodies are a little bit like that.
You can only ignore your body for so long until it breaks down and at that stage it
becomes very difficult to get you back to good health. It takes a lot longer and by
that time conditions are often chronic and some of you will have already started to develop
arthritis. Don't wait and don't mask the pain. If you want to know about the other six mistakes
