Hi! This is Cindy from Pink Cheeks Skin Care Salon in Sherman Oaks and we are here to talk
about waxing for Expert Village. We use at Pink Cheeks, a refined spun honey bees wax.
There are several kinds of different waxes that salons are optioned to use. But we use
the best, we use the best because we have to create the best results for the client,
plus we wax them very intimately, so we have to be aware of the quality of products that
we use on them personally. Most salons use a wax that is a pine resin. Now that keeps
the overhead very low on a salon, but pine resin. Just think about pine resin. Pine resin,
you've clipped off of a tree, you know that pine resin and it breaks the hair. It's kind
of a crackly resin. Now, they use it in different colors, like the blue and the pink and the
yellow or the carnation or the blueberry or the chocolate waxes, they all name them and
color them like that. But that pine resin keeps the overhead so low on a salon, but
it doesn't do the client that it's being used on, very good justice. We want a thorough
wax, so we use the original refined spun honey bees wax. This grabs the hair very nicely
and it pulls it out by the root, it's a gentle pull, it's organic honey, it's a wonderful
product and I've been using it for 26 years now and I've never ever considered changing
it because I love it so much.
