People ask me how I get the ideas.
This is different.
I look at art.
When making purchases.
The ideas even come when I look at pets.
I used eight colors for the cane. I used white and black, two knives, a
Dottingtool and the Clay Machine.
I start with the eyes. The Black will be rolled out to level 9
I form from black a cylinder. The cylinder must be two inches long.
In the cylinder I cut a triangle. In the gap is a white triangle.
The unrolled black is wrapped around the cylinder.
I reduce the Cane for the eyes. From the Cane - eight eyes must be cut.
One eye must be two inches long.
Each frog gets two eyes.
All eight colors are rolled out.
At level 1
Four colors are frog faces. All the faces are identical.
I start with the red. I cut strips that are two inches long.
I wrap my eyes with the strips.
Excess modeling clay I trim off.
The strips I cut into cubes. One cube is 2 x 2 inches tall.
Stacking eight cubes
I clean up the edges of the cube.
All four cubes should be equal.
With a knife, I cut the mouth in the four faces.
The unrolled Black is cut. One strip is an inch long.
The strips are placed between the two cube halves.
I assemble the frog.
I cut a strip having a different color, which is two inches wide.
I glue the eyes on the cube.
The frog is wrapped with the other color.
The frog must be completely covered with polymer clay.
All the faces are built on the same principle.
I adjust the four faces. It does look like a beautiful rectangle.
The cane has to be reduced.
The Fimo comes at the end at 110 degrees for 30 minutes the oven and your
art work is done.
