Hello everyone. So it is time for November Favorites and for this month I have 3
makeup favorites that I have been using
consistently, almost on a everyday basis.
So let's get started.
So the first thing I've been loving is this Wet 'n Wild trio.
This is called...
Knock on Wood
and it's just a beautiful, warm
palette to warm up your eyes especially
this time of the year, you know, we kind of fade out because of the
seasonal change.
But if you take a look at it, its just a perfect complementary colors.
You have this nice cool tone pink.
And then you had this uh... matte brown color and then you have this
almost purple-ly eggplant,
uh... burgundy color just to warm up the eyes.
And this is what I have on right now, so my lid
I have that burgundy color
and then in the crease I have the brown, and then as a highlight I have a soft pink.
So this is what I have on my eyes.
And this is how it swatches on the back of my hand.
And here's how it looks like.
And the reason why I've been loving this palette is just that the colors are
really easy to work with.
It just warms up my eyes like I said earlier in the video.
And its just something that I need just to make myself look more awake, more
refreshed and more
uh... lively. So I've just been loving this palette. Its really easy to use.
Now if you're interested in this Knock on Wood trio palette by Wet 'n Wild
just know that
it does have a little bit of fallout so do expect that you probably need to
put on your eyes first then do your face afterwards.
And just another side note is that
the cool
uh... frosty pink color doesn't really show up too well
but the other two colors are fantastic.
And the next makeup item that I've been loving is this Lancome palette. And this
is the five-in-one. This is called Petal Pusher.
I'll show you how it looks like.
And here to colors swatched on the back of my hand.
So here's a story behind why I picked up this Wet 'n Wild trio.
So firstly this (Lancome 5-in-1 palette) came as a complementary
deluxe sample. It came in a kit. You know its one of those
uh... gift with purchase order. I received this as a complementary product.
And what motivated me to pick up this Wet 'n Wild Trio palette is because of
this guy right here.
uh... I loved the colors in this palette.
It is just so wearable and its just, I think its perfect for Fall.
It has a nice lid color. This color that I'm pointing to right now with my brush
is what I use as a all-over-lid. And then for my contour color I would use this
matte brown. And then for the highlight I would use this frosty pink.
And because of his palette, actually, I wanted more of it but I didn't want to
fork up the bucks for this Lancome palette. So...
I was in a local drugstore and I came across the Knock on Wood. And I said, "Hey,
the Knock on Wood looks pretty similar to
the Lancome Petal Pusher palette."
Which i'll show you side by side...
So here's the side by side view. I hope you can tell that it looks close
but not a dupe. Its definitely not a dupe but the colors are really similar.
So the WetnWild palette is kinda like my everyday alternative to the
Lancome
Petal Pusher palette which
I adore a lot. And I adore this so much
that I kinda don't want to use it because I don't want to use it up so
this is the kind of like if i had to choose one over the other, I would definitely
wear this one but because of the price difference, the WetnWild
palette will have to do for now. And then finally my last November Favorite is
this Revlon Photo Ready
Eye Primer and Brightener.
So basically it's a Eye Primer and a Brightener.
And it has a brush tip applicator.
I'll show you how it looks like, its twist up,
and then you apply it how you normally would apply it with
like your Urban Decay primer or your Too Faced primer or whatever primer you use.
So here it is on the bottom.
And you blend it out.
Of course I applied way too much but you can kind of get the idea.
Here it is I have it blended out, so it really brightens it up.
And I feel it
performs the same as a Department Store Eye Primer.
I've been using it every single day since I purchased it. Basically these three
products, the Primer from Revlon, my WetnWild Trio, and this Lancome
5 pan palette,
I've been using
almost every single day uh... on the weekend I don't really wear makeup. So
that's what I've been loving in November and these are my favorites.
I hope you found this video helpful and I'll see you next time. Bye!
