Today on Autism Live: Jargon of
the Day: Executive Functions, Topic of the Week: Transitioning to Adulthood. On Great
Stuff with Ashley, Ashley shares a great board game, Queen Bee, to work on colors and shapes
as well as many other skills and she shares an addictive new App that happens to be free.
BCBA Angela Persicke helps us "Break it Down" talking about the importance of teaching children
about deception. Children need to be able to tell and detect white lies, but it is also
important for them to understand social rules for when others are engaged in deception in
order to manipulate them. These are skills that can and should be taught.
Autism Live is a production of the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD), headquartered
in Tarzana, California, and with offices throughout, the United States and around the globe. For more information on therapy
for autism and other
related disorders, visit
