>> James: We're having like kind of a block party because it's safe, fun, and there's
a lot of games that you can enjoy.
>> Jackie: It brings life; it gives people opportunityĆ a chance to meet their neighbors,
to interact with each other. They're going also get a chance to have some fun together
and play together and that's what we want to see happen in our community.
>> Bechara: We have partnered with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois on this important
initiative. They have been our very strong partner - they're our sole funder for this
initiative for the whole city of Chicago.
>> Karen: If anyone goes and watches how much fun these kids are having, it is absolutely
delightful and makes all of this so worth it. I mean, when you see what our investment
is doing to help these kids is really a great thing.
>> Lawrence: We took these ideas that you guys are presenting here and with the support
of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association - bringing those to other cities across the
country and helping grow this concept.
>> Andres: It's an important message that comes to communities that Blue Cross Blue
Shield is very interested in making healthier communities...active healthier communities.
>> Jackie: It says I care, that's what it says. That there are people elsewhere who
really care about what's going on with our citizens, what's going on with our communities
and what's going on with our friends and our neighbors.
