Hi! I'm Louis Ortiz on behalf of Expert Village and I'm back to show you some cat fish pieces
that we just finished frying and again I got my counter top fryer here a little below 375
and I'm going to go ahead and pop a lid open here. We got our finished product and I'm
going to lay these on some paper towels and a little plate here so it will dry off that
residual oil. What we have is a smaller cat fish pieces that I simply seasoned directly
with a salt, pepper and garlic salt and we went straight into a dry mix which was a cornmeal
mixture that you could buy there is a million of them out there that you could just buy
at the grocery store and dip straight into. Now some people prefer this because they like
a lighter breading on there fish and this is what the end result is going to look like.
Now here I've got there 3 step breading process on cat fish as well, some cat fish pieces.
One of which I finished in seasoned bread crumbs and the other which I finished in the
exact same cornmeal mixture that I used for these guys. So we are going to go ahead and
fried these up and will show you the before and after product and come back and take a
look and you could see the difference.
