Hoist it up.
It's an exceptional day. After 2 years the first boat arrives at its destination.
It's delicate, because we've never off-loaded the boat before.
So we need to be careful.
She's beautiful.
We're going to start the final stage of the project, the tests.
And the launch of the boat. It's very stressful.
There are so many unknown factors: Will the boat cover the entire track?
Will it come back, lock, be powerful enough?
There are many unanswered questions and it's stressful but also exciting.
It works! The first test was a success. Fantastic. I'm extremely happy.
It's a huge weight off my shoulders.
So the boat doesn't touch the water on the first three runs.
The water in the brake pool is at a low level.
And right before the boat makes its final run
the water level rises by about 30 centimetres.
It fills for five seconds with two truckloads of water.
The boat hits the water, making the awesome splash we're all expecting.
We can get on board. It's exceptional.
We couldn't ride it until we finalized the test phase.
Now we all had to sign a waiver for our future widows and orphans.
I'm excited, but a bit panicky too.
We're the first ones to ride it. Before us it were just test dummies.
We're off. -Onward, pioneers.
I love all of you.
A once in a lifetime experience.
60 miles an hour.
Superb!
Absolutely exhilarating.
A unique experience. The launch was very powerful. It's an awesome experience.
The splash was sensational. What a rush. I'll be back.
What a feeling when the boat speeds ahead.
The air time makes you feel as if you're floating. You come off your seat.
You'd expect this to happen in two or three places
but it happens at unexpected locations, which gives you a special feeling.
You're fully vertical at the top of the hill. Impressive.
