hi everyone welcome to Haniela's today I'm gonna show you how to make Lego Pinata
Cookies
to start you need to make sugar cookie dough and color your dough
into different colors here are the cookie cutters I'm gonna be using
I have large rectangle small rectangle and then also tiny little round you can
find links where to get these down below in the description area
to make sure that your dough is even thickness you can use 2
painter's sticks glued together one each side they are about 1/4 inch thick or
you can also use
special rolling pin with adjustable rings
you need to cut out 3 rectangle pieces
total for each lego brick
once you have all 3 pieces we need to
roll the dough into about 1/8 of an inch
so it's little thinner and then using a small
round cookie cutter cut-out 6 rounds
for each brick
and then place them on top of one rectangle
cookie
you need to chill the cookies until firm and then bake them
at 375 degrees of F for about
8 to 9 minutes, once your cookies are baked take a small rectangle
and carefully cut out the center, you have to do is while the cookies are still
hot and soft so
be careful when you're lifting up the center so you don't break to outer portion
once cooled we can put this together you can use royal icing as a glue or you
can also use candy melts
I'm gonna be filling this with mini m&m candies
I'm using matching color
royal icing this way I'm preventing
show through, if you you were to use white royal icing it's gonna show through
and it's not gonna look as pretty
now were are ready close this, you can put the lid
on top and then you just have to let it dry
a couple of hours until your royal icing is dry
or if you're using chocolate, until your chocolate is
set and then you can enjoy these that's how you make
Lego Pinata Cookies, I hope you like this tutorial
