Hi, I am Chef Issac from Cuisines by Issac and today we are going to discuss how to make
Irish Soda Bread. Okay, in this step we are going to mix our wet ingredients. Our wet
ingredients in this case are going to be butter and buttermilk. For the butter we are going
to need about 1/4 cup of butter. If you can just sort of look right here, it is already
measured out for you. So, all you have to do is go right to here and cut right where
it says 1/4 of a cup and put that in the thing. For the buttermilk we are going to need about
11/2 cup of buttermilk, which I am going to pour into our measuring cup here. We are going
to mix the two wet ingredients together. What I am going to do is I am going to go ahead
and just make myself a little slice. Right here. The butter is a actually a little soft
so I am going ahead and open it up. I am going to just slice it right off here. I am going
to take this amount here, and I am going to put right into my pan. I am going to take
the back and turn it on just little bit there. Let it come up to temperature. I am going
to take about a 1 1/2 cup of buttermilk and pour it in there. Somewhere around there.
Alright now that we have melted in our pan here. What I am going to take it and turn
the I off. I am going to turn the fan off . Basically because it is irritating me.
I am going to come here and I am going to pour the milk right in there. Now this it
we have mixed our wet ingredients.
