This video will show you how to create a 360 Panoramic effect using any size photos.
I chose a dull photo of London Bridge and decided to enhance it by giving it an cool spiral effect
Begin by going onto Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates
A window should pop up, where you can pick Rectangular to Polar (360 Panorama) or Polar to Rectangular (sphere effect). Change the view to 6% to see the preview effect. In this video, I used the Rectangular to Polar effect for the 360 look and clicked OK.
The image should change to the Rectangular to Polar effect instantly. Like shown here.
The effect has created a spiral effect and a visible line has been create in the middle. You can leave your picture like this, or you can take extra steps to perfect the image by blurring out the line.
To blur out the line, simply go to the side tool bar and click on the Spot Blending Brush. Use the brush and click onto the areas you want to blend.
Sometimes there will be outstanding blurs that is hard to work with. Just use the CTRL + Z on the keyboard to remove the mistake and continue on with your blending.
You can also you a dragging motion in larger areas to speed up the process.
To change the size of the brush you can go on to the top spot healing brush tool bar to alter the size, hardness and spacing to suit you.
I find that using a smaller brush size is more effective as it blends the smaller areas and does not create big mistakes.
In some areas I found it hard to blend together, so I left it. But the blending technique has shown that line is not as visible as before.
After you have completed with the blending you can change the image size, so you can upload it on the web.
To do this, go on File > Image Size and change the Resolution - 72 Pixels/Inches then click OK.
After you can simply save the image, going onto file > save as.
